Biography:
She was born in September 1971 in Rudsar city in Gilan province, Iran. She studied up to diploma in Rodsar city and spent her general medicine courses at the medical school of Gilan University of Medical Sciences in Rasht city. The city of Rasht and the people there were so kind to her that after two years of student life, she convinced her family to move to Rasht and live together.
In 1996, she finished the general course and got married in the same year. She moved to Tehran and had a child in 1999. Due to her motherly love, she preferred to stay at home with her daughter and take charge of her upbringing personally. After her daughter entered elementary school, she decided to continue her studies in a specialized field, and although the field of obstetrics and gynecology was not her first favorite field, she chose it in order to be by her daughter’s side. Dr. Lahuti completed a specialized course in obstetrics and gynecology at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences. After completing it, she spent two years in the underprivileged areas of Malayer city before returning to Tehran and reunited with her family.
She continued her studies in the subspecialty field of infertility, which she was very interested in, and received a fellowship in infertility and IVF, and from then on, she treats clients in this area.
Dr. Lahuti’s hobby is reading books. She has about 700 volumes of books in her personal library and this library has a library catalogue like public libraries and all the books have call numbers. She is very interested in poetry, literature and music, and in recent years she has started teaching the Iranian string instrument, the Tar. Despite her busy schedule, she has not given up on it because of her innate energy and interest in poetry and music. Also, she has edited a number of her professor’s books in the field of music.
Dr. Lahoti is very interested in traveling, nature and has a very outgoing personality.
Her priorities after her daughter and family, are treating infertility and her clients. Even though she is over fifty years old, she still visits patients with great love and affection every day until late at night, and she always has this poem in mind:
We are alive because of not to stay,
We are waves, so our stagnation is our death!
– Saeb-e-Tabrizi
