Hello, Iranian Surgery speaking. That is actually a common concern among those who have had Rhinoplasty in Iran. The answer is simple, do not touch your nose, however hard it will be on you. Patients must take great care to sidestep setting any pressure on their nose, including touching the nose. For at least 1 – 2 weeks after Rhinoplasty or until the surgeon gives you the green light, you must be cautious. But we generally believe that it’s not a good idea to tinker, touch, poke, or push your nose during the healing time. This may misalign the nasal tissues or undo the outcomes accomplished by the nose job. Be patient with the swelling.
