What is coolsculpting?

CoolSculpting, also called cryolipolysis, is a medical procedure that helps get rid of excess fat cells underneath your skin.

It is a non-invasive fat reduction procedure without anesthesia, needles or incisions. The principle is based on using freezing temperatures to destroy fat cells and ‘sculpt’ the body, and that is the reason why it was called CoolSculpting.

In fact, CoolSculpting offers the most advanced non-invasive body sliming solution by the integrated technology of cryo, vacuum and LED light therapy. The system delivers cryo-energy during the treatment with vacuum and LED technologies which enhances the treatment effects. As compared to other cryolipolysis systems, this is the only system that includes red a LED 630 nm which also promotes collagen production, so the skin texture appears smoother and tighter, and also stimulates the micro-circulation.

It is worth mentioning that this new technique was approved by many health organizations around the world, including the FDA. It lasts just an hour, and you will not feel anything except cooling sensation and a little bit of numbness.

Before coolsculpting

The CoolSculpting method does not require much preparation. However, it’s important to make sure your body is healthy and close to your ideal weight. CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution and overweight or obese people are not ideal candidates. The ideal candidate is healthy, fit and looking for a tool to eliminate bumps.

5 things you should do before the day of your treatment.

. Avoid taking any medications or supplements that thin your blood, such as aspirin and fish oil.  These all have blood thinning properties that can make you more susceptible to bruising. It’s best to stop taking them at least one week before your session. However, before doing that please talk to your family doctor to make sure it’s okay. Your doctor may also suggest alternative medications that you can take during this time.

. Avoid damaging your skin in the target area. The CoolSculpting treatment involves some massaging and suctioning of the area being treated. If your skin is cut or excessively bruised, you might need to postpone your treatment to prevent your wound from getting worse.

. Avoid tanning your skin in the target area. Tanning can make your skin more sensitive to treatment. To minimize discomfort, it’s best to protect your skin from the sun exposure before your treatment.

. Eat healthy before your treatment. A healthy body makes it easier and faster for results to appear, since you’ll be functioning at an optimal level.

. You might want to consider stopping smoking for about a week before your session, too. Smoking can impede the healing process, delaying your results.

5 things you should do on the day of your treatment.

. Make sure to wear loose clothing that’s comfortable. You’ll also need to wear underwear and a bra. Your undergarments should be what you’d wear while lounging around at home, not the expensive ones you’d wear on a date! This is because gel is applied to your skin, and this gel might get on your underwear.

. You might want to consider bringing a change of clothes just in case.

. Don’t arrive to your appointment on an empty stomach – eat a light meal just to see you through your session.

. Make sure to bring along a book, iPad or other item to keep you occupied during your session. Although we offer advanced technology, allowing you to treat two areas at once in half the time, some entertainment will help make the time pass faster, as it can take 1-3 hours depending on how many areas you target.

. Be prepared to have some photos taken of the targeted area before your session. We’ll take the photos before and after your treatment so that you can easily see the improvement once you return to your follow-up appointment in 3 months or so.

Risks and Side effects
What are the risks and side effects of CoolSculpting?

The risk of side effects and complications often depends on the medical professional performing the procedure.

The only noticeable side effects of the procedure tend to be minor and occur only around the area of treatment. Most minor side effects reduce or go away within a few days to weeks after the procedure.

It is normal, however, to experience numbness or loss of sensation in the treatment area for around a month.

Common immediate side effects of CoolSculpting include:

. Redness

. Firmness

. Pinching sensation

. Minor swelling

. Tenderness

. Bruising

. Stinging

. Tingling

. Numbness

. Skin sensitivity

. Mild to moderate pain

. Muscle cramping

A person may continue to experience these side effects for a few weeks after the procedure. Other common side effects that a person may experience in the first few weeks after CoolSculpting include:

. Itchiness, especially a few days after the procedure

. Diarrhea, as dead fat cells are removed from the body

. A feeling of fullness in the throat after treatments involving the neck or chin region

During coolsculpting
How does CoolSculpting work?

CoolSculpting stems from the science of cryolipolysis, which uses the cellular response to cold to break down fatty tissue. By extracting energy from fat layers, the process causes the fat cells to die gradually while leaving surrounding nerves, muscle, and other tissues unaffected. During the months after treatment, the digested fat cells are sent to the lymphatic system to be filtered out as waste.

Procedure for CoolSculpting

A doctor or trained healthcare provider will perform the procedure using a handheld device. The device has applicators that look similar to the nozzles of a vacuum cleaner.

During the treatment, the healthcare provider will apply a gel pad and applicator to the targeted area. The applicator delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat. The provider will then move the device over your skin while administering suction and cooling technology to the target area. Some offices have several machines that allow them to treat multiple target areas in one visit.

It’s common to experience some feelings of pulling and pinching during the process, but overall the procedure involves minimal pain. The provider typically will massage the treated areas immediately after treatment to breakup any frozen deep tissue. This will help your body begin to absorb the destroyed fat cells. Some people complain that this massage is slightly uncomfortable.

Although research is still limited, CoolSculpting is generally viewed as a safer, non-invasive type of fat reduction surgery than traditional procedures, such as liposuction. As the procedure does not involve any cutting, tissue manipulation, or anesthesia, most people do not need any recovery time and can immediately resume normal activities.

Coolsculpting stomach

The stomach may be one of the most commonly used CoolSculpting treatment. Getting rid of excess fat cells in this area can be difficult due to age as well as life events like pregnancy.

Coolsculpting arms

Regardless of the reason a person has arm fat accumulation, CoolSculpting can be a great non-invasive way of lowering the arms, giving them a more specific contour and helping them regain their confidence in sleeveless shirts.

After coolsculpting

After a CoolSculpting procedure, it requires a little recovery time. Most people resume their daily activities immediately after coolsculping. In some cases, some redness or minor pain may occur in the treated area, but all minor side effects usually subside within a few weeks. Results in the treated areas may be significant within three weeks after surgery. Normal results come after two or three months and the fat-burning process continues after six months.

Many patients have minimal discomfort following the procedure, however you may experience one or more of the following sensations: deep itching, tingling, numbness, tenderness to the touch, pain in the treated area, strong cramping, nausea, bloating, diarrhea, muscle spasms, aching and/or soreness. Contact our office if these conditions persist beyond two weeks or worsen over time.

Following the procedure, a gradual reduction in the thickness of the fat layer will take place. Your body will naturally process and eliminate the injured fat cells for up to four months after your procedure.

You may start to see changes as early as three weeks after the CoolSculpting procedure and you will experience the most dramatic results after three months.

In rare cases, patients have reported darker skin color, hardness, discrete nodules, freeze burn, enlargement of the treated area, hernia or worsening of existing hernia following the CoolSculpting procedure. Surgical intervention may be required to correct the enlargement or hernia.

CoolSculpting is not a replacement for diet and exercise. Weight gain will prevent you from appreciating your full results. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine after your procedure can help prevent this.

How many sessions are required to see results with CoolSculpting?

While some people may see a significant change after one treatment, many clients require two or more sessions for the most benefit. Larger or more stubborn areas may need three sessions to reduce bulk. Although it is impossible to absolutely predict the result, during a consultation our technicians can give you an idea of how many treatments you might need for optimal results.

CoolSculpting Cost in Iran

The price of CoolSculpting depends on four primary factors:

. The area of your body being treated – In general, the smaller the treatment area, the lower the cost.

. The number of treatment cycles – The number of cycles required to reach a desired outcome depends on your body type and how much fat needs to be removed. For example, fat reduction in the flanks usually requires one to three sessions, while the inner or outer thigh area may require multiple sessions.

. Your provider’s location – As with any cosmetic procedure, location plays into the price of CoolSculpting.

. Who performs the treatment – If a doctor performs your CoolSculpting treatment that will generally cost more than a medical assistant or aesthetician.

Understandably, treating multiple areas can also increase cost. To reach their ideal end result, a good number of people elect to treat multiple areas.

Results can be seen in 30-90 days, although some see changes in as little as 10 days, and it may take up to six months for the full effects to manifest. Many people are satisfied after a single treatment, but often a second treatment (or more) really brings out the sculpting of your body and reduction of fat in the problem area.
