What should I do before hair transplant
Don’t wear such types of clothes that need to wear from the head when coming for the hair transplant in Iran. Rather, prefer to come in the formal shirt that you can easily wear and take away without touching your head.
If you have any medical problems, then make sure you inform the surgeon before the surgery. Informing the doctor about your remedial condition in advance is better for a bother free process.
If you are taking any medicine like aspirin that used to thin your blood, then leave taking it a few days before the medical treatment.
If you are prone to dandruff, then it is sensible to take Ketoconazole/ Arcolane*/Betadine Surgical Scrub*/ Scalp shampoo* daily 3 days prior to the hair transplant.
Before you come for hair transplant treatment in Iran, make sure you rinse your hair properly. But, avoid using any gel or oil to your hair before the treatment.
Wear a cap to keep your hair dust free when coming for the treatment.
Say goodbye to smoking, alcohol or any other drug a few days before your hair transplant treatment.
Do not come to hospital empty stomach. Have a light, digestible breakfast or lunch before the treatment. Avoid coffee, tea, caffeine and spicy food.
If you are coming for hair transplantation treatment, then better come in an easy enough look and avoid wearing any precious thing such as gold.
If you got grey hair, then better color them black before the treatment.
Some tests such as Blood tests (Hep-B, Hep-C, BT, CT, Blood sugar (Random) etc.) should be done before the hair transplant treatment and shared with your surgeons.
Stop all Protein shakes and supplements for 7 days before treatment
Sleep at least 6-8 hours before treatment day.
At least one relative/friend is recommended to accompany the patient.
If you opt Body Hair Transplant (BHT) treatment, it is advisable to shave the probable body donor area (chest, pubic, armpit, back or thighs) hairs precisely 4 days prior of your treatment date.
If the patient has long hairs then it is essential to cut the hairs small to visualize the precise bald areas where transplant is necessary to be done.
Continue taking Anti- Hypertensive (for blood pressure), medicines for Diabetic or any other medication prescribed by the surgeon and same should be informed to doctor before the treatment.
You can listen to music on your mobile/MP3 player etc. during surgery.
If you are far from Hospital, and accommodation is a need, Inform in advance. On your request, we can make arrangements.
For change the appointment, a request must be made at least 7 days in advance.
