pros and cons of gastric balloon
If you have landed on this page, it means you are trying to find out about the pros and cons of gastric balloon surgery. Well, before you waste anymore of your time clicking on google search results let me share with you what our experts think about this particular form of bariatric surgery. Overall, Iranian weight-loss surgeons do not recommend gastric balloon surgery for two main reasons: first, the insignificant weight-loss effects of this procedure in the long run. Second, the need for removing the balloon after 6 months which means the size of your stomach will return to its original size. Alternatively, our experts suggest that you go for more effective options such as Gastric Sleeve or Gastric Bypass and in special cases Stomach (gastric) Botox surgery.

It’s interesting to learn that the first balloon can be left in for 6 months to decrease your appetite and is filled with nitrogen hexafluoride gas. My aunt is looking to lose about 40 pounds to help with her health. I’ll have to tell her about the gastric balloon procedure and see if this is something she’d be interested in.
